Las Vegas Family Reunion Photography
This Las Vegas Family Reunion photoshoot had been planned for a few years now. But what we didn’t expect is the weather we had during our photoshoot. When I left my house, which was completely on the other side of town from where they were located, the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day minus the standard Las Vegas heat. However, as I drove I could see some dark clouds on that side of town and the wind was picking up more and more every minute. April came out to greet me in the driveway and we couldn’t believe that of all days and time, the weather decided to be bad the day of their shoot!
We were determined to get a few good shots, so the whole family went in the backyard to get the perfect family photo. While I was doing my practice shots to get everyone in a good spot (since they were such a large family) it started to drizzle. I almost had it, just as I was telling their tallest guy in the family to move away from the palm leaves it started raining. They stayed in place for me to get a couple quick photos, but then it just came pouring down. By the time everyone got inside they were all soaked! Well the rain didn’t stop us, we just relocated to try another family photo inside in the only location that could hold all of them. We then started going down the list of all the different types of groupings we had to get accomplished. Thankfully, the rain stopped a bit later so we were able to start taking the remaining photos outside. Although of course at one point we had the sprinklers going off. LOL apparently that day was suppose to be a wet one, one way or another, but we got all the photos we needed working around the few challenges. 🙂
